With a strong track record of brand management and partnership marketing, Manning has worked with such high-visibility brands as Katie Price, Jersey Shore's Sammi Sweetheart, Jeff Timmons, Paris Hilton, Showstoppers, NFL, MCI, Nike, Milk, Kelloggs, Sprint, Reebok, Polar, and many others. Manning has managed multi-million dollar books of business incorporating multiple elements of celebrity endorsement, global campaign planning, online marketing, broadcasting (film and television), direct marketing, communications, retail campaigns, and grass roots promotions to achieve client success.
Currently US Management for Katie Price , and having managed Paris Hilton as a Personal Manager and running the company as the VP of Paris Hilton Entertainment, Manning traveled extensively to develop and build a global brand with four endorsement contracts and over fifteen licensees in various product categories, while also overseeing personal appearances, film, music and television projects from both a production and management position. She was highly involved in producing BFF Series Two in the US and BFF Dubai.
As the President and Owner of Volition in Manhattan Beach, California, Manning currently manages a diverse clientele base and consults on various entertainment projects. Manning also provides merchandising and licensing consultation to various celebrities and manages product development and distribution with these clients.
Prior to launching Volition, Manning worked at HSN (Home Shopping Network) where she was a Content Producer and positioned products accordingly on air and online to increase sales per minute. She moved out of Production into Corporate Partnership Marketing Senior Management and was with HSN for four years before moving into private consulting.
Manning also held the title of the United States Director of Marketing for Finnish-based Polar Electro, Inc. Manning opened offices for the Finland-based company in Burbank, California and within one year increased market share to over 90%. While developing the brand in the United States, Mannings marketing initiatives were duplicated in 7 other countries to mimic success for the brand. Ten NIKE-sponsored athletes were hired and personally managed during her tenure to develop intellectual property for the brand and initiate nationwide promotions surrounding the ground-breaking product. Polar is still the number one heart rate monitor in the world.
Atlanta-based, The STEP Company, the company that revolutionized the step aerobics phenomenon, was where Manning took her first job as a graphic designer. She moved up the ladder aggressively and within four years was to become the Director of Promotions for this international company, managing an extensive travel schedule, a team of 12-15 NIKE athletes and multiple product licensing agreements. Mannings orchestration of key athlete management and spokespersons in tandem with public relations efforts led to positive brand affinity nationally and internationally, launching the step product to number one in the market. It was from here that she was recruited to lead the marketing team at Polar.
Manning holds a Bachelor of Science in Sports Marketing and Management with a Business Minor and Promotions Emphasis from GSU. She graduated as the top Sports Marketing and Management Major in her class.
In addition to the above, Manning is also a member of the The American Marketing Association, The Big Brothers and Big Sisters Organization (8 years) and a member of CEW (Cosmetic Executive Women). She is also actively involved with the Rose Foundation in Guatemala and the Interface Foundation in Utah.
